Founded in 2002 by CEO, Mr. Shabbir (Janu) Khan, Janu Private Tours is an independent boutique Tour Operator committed to organizing tailor-made tours. With over 15 years of travel industry experience, today we are a team of more than 20 professionals consisting of experienced drivers, multilingual guides and tour planners to design your journey through India with us.

In 2005, I finally joined the Janu Private Tour company as one of their first drivers. “One place I hold close to my heart is the Ranakpur temple. During the evening times, I enjoy the peace, the tranquillity and the beauty of the surrounding mountain”

I started driving as a tuk-tuk driver in Udaipur for eleven years then moved to New Delhi to work in a tour company for twelve years. Six years ago, I joined Janu Private Tours. I then transitioned to working in tourism as a receptionist and driver for a hotel chain for eight years. For the last two years, I have been driving guests for Janu Private Tours and as such and driving is second nature to me as I love being on the go and showing others around my home state of Rajasthan. One of my passions is going for long drives on my motorbike.
